Another year older. That ship has sailedIt's written in the stars - Critch returns and his first signing is Richard Keogh
One can dream!thought he left to be nearer his family as well...?
Let him train down South and travel up for games the day before.thought he left to be nearer his family as well...?
I'm pretty sure he's based around Derby these days, so maybe somewhere like Northampton on Lincoln, but my guess is he'll probably call it a day. He’ll probably end up moving to Colchester if the area is important to him.
Yes. Met his Mum at Luton and she was from Essex.thought he left to be nearer his family as well...?
Get a few bets on Keogh as our new manager. He'll be the bookies favourite by the end of the night.
Well it wasn't particularly serious haha. I did have £25 on Critchley. Shame I didn't bet when it was 20/1.That's aged well, but I wonder if Critch might be interested in him as #2.
Yep, he was a huge loss.I reckon his leadership in the dressing room last season would have avoided that long run of winless game
He is nearer to his family, just on family credit nowthought he left to be nearer his family as well...?
I'm pretty sure to play in the league he'd have to be registered in the 22, might be different in the cup though.Would likely make a fantastic coach. Get him in over summer and see if he can still offer something on the pitch too. At some point we’re gonna have injury problems and with limited squad sizes a player/coach is a nice option to have in the back pocket
Could (therefore) Keogh be the ‘new’ Calderwood?I was actually speaking to him the other day when he was up with the Ipswich team to play Fleetwood and asked him if he would consider a coaching role at Blackpool. He said he would be very interested in that and not to rule it out. He did also say he thought our fans were superb and he was gutted for us that we had been relegated. He also said he had seen himself as a go between from players to management and he had been involved in discussions regarding nutrition and organisational matters. He also was telling the other Ipswich players how big the scum Derby was as they were staying in Preston and how much we hated each other. Great bloke who took the time to chat to me for 30 mins. It's a yes from me.
Every time I’ve seen Stearman I’ve had something against him for getting DJ sent off away at Wolves in the Prem.First signing Tony Weston
Commanding defensive general Stearman?
I was thinking more along the lines of registering him when needs must maybe ? But that only really works if the registration window is open or there’s a space free so it’s possibly not that useful… unless we put him down as 3rd GK !!I'm pretty sure to play in the league he'd have to be registered in the 22, might be different in the cup though.
Absolutely hated him from that incident but age does mellow opinionsEvery time I’ve seen Stearman I’ve had something against him for getting DJ sent off away at Wolves in the Prem.
Yes. And if he was recruited to BFC that would be fantasticCould (therefore) Keogh be the ‘new’ Calderwood?
