Keshi’s goal - what actually happened?!

Sitting directly behind the goal I would have put money on it going out, it seemed to start a sudden spin and caught the keeper off-guard.

I was behind it above in the south and neither me nor anyone around me thought it was going in. You can actually see fans throw their hands down momentarily when it leaves his boot on the highlights - suspecting that he's shanked it wide.

As it turns it, he totally mistimed the strike with the bulk of the impact coming from his standing leg. But I'll take it 😄

Sat in the West and like everyone around us I groaned, "scuffed that and the keeper is comfortable to watch it go out" then I saw the South start bouncing so I watched the ball slowly (could have gone to the concourse for a pie) make its way into the net. It was only when I saw the net bulge I realised it was actually in! 🤭

More of a flutter that a bulge from the net but same for me! As the keeper just stood there I was looking around for a second trying to see if linesman or ref had stopped the game or something! I laughed as much as cheered!

One bad game at Reading and every arse is on his case. Magnificent against Blackburn and replicated it today. You'll do me Keshi lad x
He said afterwards that he's been suffering from a cough or similar that has affected his breathing, so he's battling out there. Top player. But that goal 😂

Keepers view is blocked, so he starts to move to his left, gambling that Keshi is going to put it far post

He takes a step to his left and has got all his weight on his left leg, so can't readjust.

Smart by Keshi, shit keeping and defending.

Very surreal. People looking around in amazement at each other as if to say "how did that go in." A slight pause and then the euphoria hit .

Reminded me of Dobbie's goal at Birmingham in the play-offs for the simple fact that nobody except the South Stand realised it went in. Looked to me like it had gone wide then the South started celebrating
