Keshi

Not sure about that unless he signs a new deal as being on the plus one of his contract he can go for free next summer.

Somebody comes in with an offer we either sell or lose out.

We need to get him on a new contract, of course that's gonna depend on the new manager. Not much we can really do till that's sorted. I'd love to keep him though

Huddersfield preparing a bid, apparently.

Is it a worrying time that we have lost our manager and potentially a number of key players in the same summer? Being linked with uninspiring names to be the new manager and the rumour of no funds, which was dismissed by Mansford but surely they wouldn’t come out and say “Yes we are skint”, so it’s expected to be dismissed.

Yes the model is to buy cheap sell high, whilst developing them. But surely a high turnover of players isn’t ideal at the same time?

It’s always going to be part of it, we identify the player and sign them relatively cheaply. We then develop them over the next 18 months to 2 years and benefit from them during this time before hopefully selling them for a big profit which is then reinvested. Some will see out their contracts and move on for nothing possibly like Keshi but that’s just the way it goes.
