Has anyone heard where Keshi is now or might end up? Think he felt he was a Champ player but the longer he goes without finding a club do our chances of getting him back improve?
Wouldn’t shock me if he ended up at nobbersHas anyone heard where Keshi is now or might end up? Think he felt he was a Champ player but the longer he goes without finding a club do our chances of getting him back improve?
True, and injury prone as well. Not sure there will be too many Champ clubs interestedHe'll probably prefer to head back south but he's 28 now so he'll be looking to get the best financial deal he can get.
And how do you know this? I would have him back in a heartbeatHe was at Squires Gate yesterday. FACT
Hope so ,class player when he is fit .Might end up back here?
Could just be keeping fit I guess or maybe looking to come backBecause I saw him there. His Mrs (I presume) dropped him off there in a white car.
Might have baulked at his new terms then had time to reflect after lack of other opportunities, happiness where he was etc?Could just be keeping fit I guess or maybe looking to come back
You might well be right - he effectively had a year out with injury last season so I doubt to many clubs will be queuing up in the Champ or offering him top money. Plus, the Critch link might just tempt him backMight have baulked at his new terms then had time to reflect after lack of other opportunities, happiness where he was etc?
If he barely plays why would you take him back in a heartbeat?I'd take him back in a heart beat, I did doubt that he would find a Championship club due to injury. The championship this year is going to be as tight as I can ever remember it being so I doubt too many clubs will be looking to take a risk on a player that bearly plays.
Because he's class when he does play and in this league we can afford to have a luxury in him. I'm not saying this league is easy and we're going up no problem, but it's not the same level as the Championship where you need everyone fit and playing every game.If he barely plays why would you take him back in a heartbeat?
I agree, in this league a Keshi who plays say 70 - 75% of the games is a huge advantage as opposed to a Keshi in the champ who plays 30- 40% of games. In lg1 Keshi would be a team of the season type playerBecause he's class when he does play and in this league we can afford to have a luxury in him. This is true right now. Players that I thought would be snapped up in the Championship appear to be struggling to find a club at that level.Jud had NO offers from any championship club. Only Oxford interested that's a FACT .New clubs hard to find. Too many players available not enough positions.

I know from a relative of hisHow do you know what offers he did or did not receive?

Problem is only 22 registered players, so you can't risk/carry injury risks?
Any know where Stewart ended up, or did he retire?
On that basis we better get Kev Stewart signed up. He's way too good for League One when he does play....Because he's class when he does play and in this league we can afford to have a luxury in him. We get more games out of Anderson in 1 season than we ever got out of Stewart. Anderson is injury prone, Stewart is made of glass. If Anderson was injured as much as Stewart is then I wouldn't want him at all no matter how good he is.On that basis we better get Kev Stewart signed up. He's way too good for League One when he does
Presumably he'll be training here for now, who knows, he might even get a contract.Problem is only 22 registered players, so you can't risk/carry injury risks?

Bridcutt and Stewart were the names I looked for. When the released list was announced his and Stewart’s names were the first I looked for and I was delighted to see them on there we need players that want to play not spongers
He would never sign such a deal brilliant player on his day but time to move onBridcutt and Stewart were the names I looked for.
If a pay as you play deal was acceptable to Keshi I would resign him
I’d forgot about bridcutt think he only played two games and he was useless in both of those a lot of money wasted on crocks last season all three were dead woodBridcutt and Stewart were the names I looked for.

'...re-signing...'I will say that I thought Albi Morgan would be Keshi replacement so I really don't know what the liklihood of us resigning Keshi is.
Agree, even if he only played 70% of games, worth being in the squad at L1 level. Ps one of my favourite albums of all time your name photoHave him back in a heartbeat. Do we know whether he wasn't offered a new deal or that he told us he was moving on?
Absolutely, class player, knows everyone here and is a great bloke to have around the squad. I'd love to see him back fit and firing on all cylinders. Top, top player for L1.I'd take him back in a heart beat, I did doubt that he would find a Championship club due to injury.
