If we can keep him fit then he is a key player for us and if we add a creative talent like Brannigan next to him then who knows where we could go...Dougall did ok yesterday aswell but was not at the same level as Stewart (Dougalls ball through to Lavery was sublime)

A good pre season plus a fit Matty Virtue and we can easily make the play offs next season

Scored goals in L1 was last season and the season before and suffered a serious injury before that was playing sublime football, plus the was played out of position half the time last season

Its a game of opinions and in my opinion he is too slow to be a really good player...I think he will be sent out on loan to sharpen up and will probably end up at a mid to low League one side. I would love him to prove me wrong but I dont think he will.

Couldn’t agree more. The player most similar to him in the squad is probably Carey who from what I’ve seen is a much better and more complete player.

Though saying that, they give him a long contract during the injury which does imply he’s highly rated. We’ll see but I’m not convinced.
 
A great defensive midfielder & spoiler but as we saw today, he has panic attacks when he crosses the half way line! He could have had two goals but seems incapable of actually shooting.
 
Definitely shat himself infront of goal today, especially that first one! Second one at least he managed to get a shot away but the chance had faded by then... that looks to me like progress!

He'll be banging em in in no time.
