If my memory serves me right in the last minute with us leading 2-1 he came out and clattered Evo when he was attempted to head a long free kick clear and they knocked the ball in to the empty net Those two points lost would have kept us in the Prem on 41 points.

Mind you looking back it would have meant another chunk of money would have headed the Scarecrow way so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

It would not have been an issue but for that effing linesman and then the ref,the two free kicks which weren’t especially the first which should have been ours or at least a corner to us.BARSTOOLS

It really wasn't, the Sunderland players seemed to prefer kicking the ball at him rather than score.
