Hopefully it’s Donald Trump

It was only a matter of time before some offshore prospective owner tried to set up a Fylde Coast 'super club', like I suppose Maxwell did with the Thames Valley Royals (in the 80s)

With one of the NFL finalists being a 'third move' franchise (as reported) its all the rage, and obviously bringing the Seasiders,Preston,AFC and the Cods would give the place a huge club ; Haythorne is situated in the perfect spot for the 50k stadium and we'll get to see Cincinatti three times a year in the Yank egg chasing.

Way to go.

There are about 7,000 posts on PKEOndrugs with knobbers wetting themselves they may have another owner who's willing to throw £12m away every year to keep the doors open........The guy is called Chris Kirchner and he's looking at a few UK football clubs and even put a bid in for Derby....which was knocked back because he was way, way off with the figure the administrators wanted

This is from Wikipedia......
"His net worth might be more than $5 million. His primary source of income is his position as a CEO of the company, Slync.io. According to a release, Slync.io, a supply chain software provider, has raised $60 million in a Series B financing.".....Which is the figure owed to Hemmings in shares

Has a workforce of around 70 in the US and seems to be a serial entrepreneur...........
He's not a Billionare..in fact he's not even listed in Forbes.....and even his past investments didn't bring him miliions......has a few quid.....but not lots

Came over to watch PNE play Huddersfield.......who are also looking for new owners.........so that probably killed off any chance for those 2.....

Described by someone connected with Derby as a tyre kicking time waster in reference to his interest in buying the club

Was reported in The Sun over the weekend by Alan Nixon, who was also bugging up his bid for Derby before he pulled out …

The problem is that his company, which is quite promising, is still in the growth stage and going out to investors for capital. Might make him very rich one day, but adding in an expensive football habit seems … an unlikely way to go?

Your all jumping the gun and wetting yourselves. He was watching a game , that’s all. No negotiations what so ever.

He's Chris Kirchner, an American who has made his money from software development. Nobody seems to know how strong his liquidity really is, and after making a lot of noise about Derby he was quite quick to back out (which may well be very sensible). One to treat with caution, probably, as Triumph says..

In all seriousness, while I don't want Preston doing excessively well, I also would hate to see them fall into the hands of a shyster who puts their existence at risk. Surely we want to be in the same league as them as often as possible, as high up as possible (and beating them twice a year).

He's actually watched them play?

Ah well, that's the end of that then. Should have kept him in America until his money was in the account.

The point is you were saying that the Hemmings dynasty would continue. A fortnight later and speculation of a sale. It must be known out there that the club is available.

Like your reasoning and optimism Hills. 😂 . But seriously your right in what you say. Nothing must put the number 1 derby in danger. If it was to happen and we lost our derby, Sir Stan and Sir Tom would turn in their graves.

I agree. Love it when PNE lose especially when we are in the same league but wouldn't wish any club in Lancashire to be taken over for pure greed reasons by a self-interested American capitalist. Burnley is one such disaster in the making. You've got to question the morals of the former owners who sell to such rogues making millions themselves in the process.

Whilst I would miss the derby games I think on balance I would prefer them to be bought by a shyster who put their existence at risk

They were very pro Oyston in the main

Never too late for the rapist and his Puerto Banus gangster chum to take the strain off the Hemmings family
DoSL,
Wrong again
They are more likely to overtaken by Morris Minor. Risdale believes the flick out indicators will fool both VAR and the football finance rules.

It would, however, be poetically and symbolically beautiful if the EFL, based on the pointless town on the Ribble, allowed the local footballing bottlers to go tits up and seek a ground sharing arrangement with Chorley!
👍🏻🤭🤣

Sounds a bit like Marty on Ozark buying a shit 'soccer' team so he can launder more cartel money.

We were brought by a pool fan who has millions but as far as I know not billions, if karcher bought pne then he would lose a lot of money as the whole of the fylde coast would buy mcalister jet washers instead

I like the derby but wouldn't be too upset if they languished in the lower leagues for a while, like we did, with shit ownership.

It would be funny if they had an owner like ours and had to act... but they can't boycott, as they foolishly claim we abandoned the club, rather than the reality of stopping putting money into oyston fc. I guess they'd have no choice but to take the pain and keep giving money to a horrible owner, given they won't do things to get them out. 🙄

But anyway thats a load of tosh as its not happening.

Ever since the farce over our forthcoming new ground with a retractable roof at Whyndyke Farm I have always had it in my mind that Owen Oyston was a 'closet PNE fan' who bought Blackpool for a quid, so that he could keep us lower than them. Thank goodness the league rejected his plans for us to play matches at Borough Park--(No segregation of fans,) whilst selling Bloomfield Road in order to fund the new stadium at Whyndyke. I have to say that the model of the proposed new stadium in Club Tangerine did look superb, though.
I am happy with The Mighty Pool's promotion last season and stability in The Championship this year.
Meanwhile, if the Oystons think they could run a different Championship outfit, there's always one at the far end of Preston New Road to consider. After all, I do think they support them.

Maybe Owen would be happy to swap his fedora for one of their dopey bowler hats! 😆

Over 7K posts!? 🤣

You're spreading misinformation about us as usual. FWIW feelings are mixed to say the least, my opinion is it probably won't happen and that wouldn't be a bad thing. We don't even know whether Kirchner is talking real money or a Glazier style transfer of debt.
