Knuckle down now and let Dobbie build his team.

The next blackpool manager list is bleak to say the least, barring a couple of names who wouldn't come for obvious financial reasons and already in a good job its a horrendous list of failures.
After failing badly with the last two , the board have stumbled on a third time lucky with Dobbie, he clearly knows this club and current set up and without doubt has passion and ambition to fix a broken mess.
Everyone in Bloomfield Rd last night could see we played with a different intensity and gave it a go . A no nonsense approach and yes silly errors cost us again at the back but the squad is threadbare and in need of a overhaul.
Give him the contact today , don't piss about over the summer like normal, he can and will build a team in the next few months given a chance and some backing !!
I can safely say it will sway lots of us supports back to the ticket office If stability not uncertainty is in place.

If the board genuinely think he can take on the rebuild job required and to implement a style of play and manage us to hopefully have a go at promotion next season then I’ll support that. The serious stuff starts in the summer, at the moment there is no pressure on him no matter what happens.
It will be a very inexperienced management team who are pally with the players.
The board also need to remember it will be the same fans calling for him to be sacked in December if we are near the relegation zone “because it hasn’t worked out” and it will be Mansfords fault for going for the cheap option blah blah.

I tend to agree with the OP.
All managers have to start somewhere, and there are positive signs in the first three. Many bigger teams than us have bloodied young managers, and I think League One is a good place to start. I wish fans would start looking forward, and forget the past managers. We should stay well clear of Critchley, and surely the experiences with Grayson and Appleton confirm this.

Hopefully mansford won't be here come December.

I don't think 1 or 2 good halves of football mean Dobbie should get the job. He'd get the fans support that's for sure but it doesn't mean he's got what it takes to get us promoted.

I'd be cautious asking for an inexperienced manager to be kept on based on the performances being slightly less shit than that of Appleton/McCarthy.

Personally I'd go for someone with success at these levels who's young. Points to only a handful of candidates.

What makes one feel that Wellens will come here.
Just promoted as Champions, Leyton Orient and we will face them next season!

Would prefer Dobbie as assistant or if he is next Manager, bring in Charlie Adam to help.

What, so we have 2 completely inexperienced head coach’s? If it’s Dobbie he needs someone like Calderwood next to him like Crichley had.

Maybe so about Dobbie but he has managed to get a performance in just 3 games under pressure due to the so called previous good managers at this level.
The simple fact is if a manager has already performed well he won't be coming here with what we can offer him financially. Especially in league 1 .
