Kyle Joseph

Maybe a little but I am merely highlighting the fact that there is little or no news of the prospects of seeing him in near or distant future.
Critchley talk about him last week, so how have we had no news? He's back in full training and will be back in a matter of weeks. Don't know how much more transparent he can be. Not like he can give and exact date, injuries don't work like that.

I obviously missed that snippet but at least my post has had the desired effect and I now have news so for this I thank you.

Do you not think the lad is desperate to hit the floor running for his new club?

It’s not as if we don’t have any other strikers who aren’t scoring. Have some patience and he will be ready when he’s ready.

He hardly missed a game for Oxford last season so don’t even go down the route that we’ve signed a crock. It’s lazy and inaccurate.

Is game time not better in the final 20 mins of a game rather than the expectations of what they might do if they start?

Apart from Moxon, our new Branagan, Joseph will be a great piece for our attacking Jigsaw by January. From what we saw in his Derby away cameo he is fast, skilful and shoots on sight.

It seems (according to Simpson) Moxon isn’t hitting the levels he was last year and is partly putting it down to unresolved contract talks. It could of course be the lad has hit his ceiling at league 1 level.
May have dodged a bullet with him.

I thought that him not being in the squad last night, he might have picked up another niggle, but apparently he's fine. They are easing him back in Saturday to Saturday and don't want to overload him too soon. Sound like we will be seeing him again this weekend.

Genuinely would of thought some mins last night makes more sense in a tinpot game, rather than giving him minutes in a more important game Saturday. Excited to see how he performs for you lot (hopefully just OK... lol).

I think we're just being ultra cautious with him. We only played him 20 mins in a cup game at the start of the season and he got reinjured keeping him out till now. I'd rather us be like this than rush him back and the he's out for the season, which knowing our luck is 100% a possibility.

We are taking it slowly with Kyle and timing his rehabilitation to enable him to rip your guys a new one in February. 🤘😀

Or the manager doesn’t want to risk him being injured again in a game that means absolutely nothing.

The manager said that playing him so soon after the initial outing is not a good thing to do... Something about 'overloading the muscles' or similar coded speak...When did football talk become so weird...

lol who the f is that?
Gary Madine! Be interesting to see what happens with him after getting badly injured at Bristol City last season and although he's out of contract now l believe he’s still being treated by us as part of his recovery programme.

Might be a worthy punt if Rhodes goes. Presumably on a short or pay/play contract?

Madine would be an asset to most clubs in League 1 if fit and had his head screwed on.he did very well here and it was a good fit.terrible injury to pick up though at 33
going on mad chases with the law doesn’t help much either.

Hope they do another one with Gary Goals emerging reborn from the sea when he’s over his injury. 😂

Either that, or a Gary Goals version of Baywatch running down the sands of the Golden Mile opposite the Life Boat station. 😁
