Kyle Joseph.

File with Nuttall under complete waste of space. The sort of signing that gets an entire recruitment team sacked.

Ruined by critch.
After will be the same next year
And, after After (whoever he is ...), I can see the same happening with Tranmere Rovers' favourite 'old boy', the itinerent wanderer-cum-'goal-scoring' prodigy that is Rob Apter. Once Critch has got his fingers into him, I fear he'll become nothing more than an apterthought ...

If we sign Rhodes you will see a different Joseph next season. Both he and Beesley looked different players when paired with Rhodes. However, my fear is that NC will stubbornly stick with 3-5-2 rather than 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. This also applies to Apter who should be wide right in a 4-4-2 and not a right wing back. Gabriel with Apter ahead would be a brilliant combination but no lessons will be learned because Critchley doesn't have anyone in his ear.

it makes me cringe when people mention “missed a sitter”
Have non of you lot never watched MOTD and seen the number of real sitters missed in the PL!
A sitter is when it is easier to score than miss.
Joseph still had work to do to control the ball then his shot was decent however a great save from keeper.
That is hardly a sitter.
A Reading player missed a much easier chance beforehand. Arguably a “Sitter”

Leave the lad alone and stop sulking like a spoilt kid.

I usually agree with a lot of your posts but I cannot compare the two. Nuttall was
poor and so was Grayson Mk II.

I reckon that early injury made Joseph play cautiously the entire season and it’s just sh** luck.

I hope you're right. I thought he was excellent away at Bristol Rovers, a glimpse of what I had hoped for. Sadly barring a few little cameos he's been poor overall and even worse when it comes to scoring. I guess if we'd got him on a free or a small transfer it wouldn't matter so much but given his £1M price tag and who's boots he was supposed to fill, he's had a shocking first season. As with Norburn, we need them fully fit and 100% determined to do better. As it stands though, he has to be considered a bad buy.

You’re right and for the money we expected more. When I saw him for Wigan he looked full of potential.

I’m disappointed with Norburn. First few games I really thought he was going to do the business for us, then he just faded… negative tactics may have played their part in that too, but he’s another one who came back from injury and never looked the same player.
