The Club must know that a lot of fans will have been refreshing their phones every 5 minutes during the day to see if we have signed anyone. If we had completed our business, deals had fallen through etc, why not just say or give updates.

I'll stop short of the over-dramatics of some on here but I agree with @RetroSeasider that there seems a real disconnection. Even during the Oyster era we had MRW1 posting on AVFTT with updates when the midnight oil was burning. Who is there now? BFC has become a bit faceless and disconnected from the fans.
