Just on the train home after another home win for Lancs . . . After the heroics from Crofty on Friday it was another un sung hero Luke Wells who delivered with bat and ball.

Once again Darryl Mitchell got runs and Buttler & Livi hit some great sixes.

Halfway through Durham looked comfortable favourites to chase the decent total of 195 but Wells put the brakes on and took two valuable wickets.

When the rain came they needed 45 off the last three so would have been a tough ask but it was a DL win.

After a dodgy run that's 3 wins on the bounce and we go back up to 2nd 👍 🌹
 
Looked dead and buried tonight after the power play and even after 10 overs with Durham give or take 100-0 But a couple of wickets and then an outstanding squeeze with the ball won it us 👍

4 games to go, 3 wins would almost certainly be enough I reckon.
 
We're away but I caught the last 8 overs on Lankys YouTube channel.

Thought we were beaten at 10 overs because they seemed to be reaching the required 10 per over quite easily.

Then Luke Wells helped squeeze the run rate to around 9 per over. 2 for 19 off 4 overs was excellent, he won the game for us today with bat and ball. I'm so glad he returned from injury quickly, can BFC borrow the Lanky physio?

Top 4 are all on 12 points, jeez we needed that.

Agreed . . . that physio needs to get Jennings sorted for the next round of CC games and we'll be even better 👍 🌹
 
Yep. Been away too, but watched our innings on YouTube. Good result, whichever way we get it.
 
I was out today but caught half the game on YouTube when i got home. Saw Lancs last couple of overs and the Durham innings. Didnt rain at my house half a mile away til an hour after game was abandoned. Weird game. Terrible by Lancs during the Durham power play. But some excellent batting and Wells turned it at the end. Been a great acquisition, as has Mitchell.
