First half was appalling, there were more headers than passes with feet and the passes that were made generally went astray.
Madine‘s sending off was, in my opinion deserved, he’d clashed with the guy earlier and was out to even things up, but added to that was his constant bickering at the ref which compounded the issue, I’m not bothered if he doesn’t play again.
After the sending off the team sort of came alive a bit, Nelson certainly got his eye back and he had a very good second half, the forwards seemed to up their game and two goals resulted, maybe Mick should think about stopping the long passes and play a little more football ?
BUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE GAME FOR ME, was the pasty I bought at halftime, it was excellent, plenty of meat, peas, carrots and swede …… and it was moist, not dry like my mates sausage roll ………. and it was covered by a very nice tasty pastry.
Just before half time me and my mate were talking about missing Saturdays game after the first half shit show ……. but the pasty has swung it and we will be there ….. !!
Just one request to MM, please look at the ten that finished the game and tweak that team slightly for Saturday, then maybe we will be talking about a footballing performance that deserves the excellent pasties on sale last night !
