Former Bolton Wanderers winger Doug Holden, the last surviving player of the Stanley Matthews FA Cup final in 1953, has died at the age of 90.

I remember seeing him when my Dad used to take me to Burnden Park when we visited my grand parents in Bolton. RIP.

RIP Doug....I met him on two or three occasions about 20 years ago as he was a big friend of someone that used the same watering hole as me at the time.

Always think it's so sad when you see them so young and also (weirdly) the fact they would have been in colour!
RIP - I suppose to have been involved in the "53 you would have been born early 30's which means you'd be knocking on 90.
Wonder how many supporters who went are still with us?
