Latest Next Blackpool Manager odds;

Nathan Jones 2/1
Paul Heckingbottom 9/4
Ian Evatt 7/2
David Dunn 10/1
Ryan Lowe 14/1
Kevin Phillips 20/1

Quite a bit of movement with Jones coming in a lot and Heckingbottom going out; i think (and hope) the Heckingbottom came from purely lazy journalism with the Mansford link.

Ryan Lowe is another that seems to have come in by quite a distance.

Nathan Jones or Evatt for me.

Yep. I’d be happy with either. Jones has done the business with Luton, a similar sized club to us, very recently.

Evatt doing a cracking job at Barrow, playing attacking football and a club legend.

Coin toss for me

Jones may have had a good record with Luton (even with play off defeat to Bowyers Blackpool) but his last tenure at Stoke ended in big failure. Would prefer someone on upward trajectory. For that reason, from the list above, and for setting up entertaining attacking teams, Ryan Lowe or Evatt would be my preferred choices

Would like to know how Jones was thought of by Stoke fans. I feel as though that job was a poisoned chalice as shown by the other respected managers struggling there.

Who has succeeded at Stoke recently? No one.

I be happy with either Jones or Evatt. Jones has something to prove after Stoke where let’s be honest, he had no chance.
Evatt would be the sentimental choice but I would say it’s more of a risk.

If we ever get Evo as manager I want it to be when he has some achievements on his CV. For his sake I'd hate it if he came now and failed, leaving him with a reputation for disloyalty and going after the money.
