Despite being fouled all the way.Work ethic and quality combined, superb example of what Lavery is so good at.
6/1 first goal today which was well overpriced Beesley was fav for some bizarre reasonI had £2.50 ew @ 50/1 on him being the division top scorer last week and he was still 50/1 before the game so I had another £10 ew.
Said at the time that it would have been disallowed in the EPL. Hit his elbow.Did Lavery use his hands to control the ball. ?

YesDid Lavery use his hands to control the ball. ?
Yep Accidentally but VAR would've probably ruled it out. Some finish though.Did Lavery use his hands to control the ball. ?
Long way to go.I had £2.50 ew @ 50/1 on him being the division top scorer last week and he was still 50/1 before the game so I had another £10 ew.
Yes. Member of staff (presumably analytics or something) confirmed on the reaction video. Must've been close.I haven't seen the replay yet but was beesley offside for the opener
You’ve got my permission to go to the Gents as many times as you wantGood to finally see it as I was in the gents under the north when it went in.
It's probably no consolation but I missed Kenny's first at Wembley for exactly the same reasonGood to finally see it as I was in the gents under the north when it went in.
Thought Laver handled at the time, but now think it was defender!

Yeah I wasn't sure, the defender and no one around claims handball.Thought Laver handled at the time, but now think it was defender!
DJ?Not seen a Blackpool striker with that sort of vision probably since Brett .. usually our players just whack it as hard as they can and hope for the best!!
Goal: Shane LaveryGood to finally see it as I was in the gents under the north when it went in.
VAR would have confirmed no handball.Yeah I wasn't sure, the defender and no one around claims handball.
I thought it was Lavery but the more you watch it it's like one of those mind tricks where if you look at it thinking it's the defender, you see the defender hand ball it and same with the opposite.
Was the defender surprised he was there about to win it and panicked so handled it? His arm comes back that way like he did. Equally Lavery moves his out the way like he could have too, or to avoid it, was it both of them. But I now think it was the defender...
Either way there was no complaints from any of them, or their fans who were closest to it.
You forgot DJ.Not seen a Blackpool striker with that sort of vision probably since Brett .. usually our players just whack it as hard as they can and hope for the best!!
…maybe because ( if true) he was well and truly shove into it…so the end result is justiceSaid at the time that it would have been disallowed in the EPL. Hit his elbow.
Agree '59. Is it snowing yet ?Why are people trying to get his goal disallowed retrospectively
Blimey, JJ, I can't help wondering to myself, after taking note of the mental gymnastics involved in that calculation, whether you possibly missed out on your true vocation in life - as a mathematician2 already, only 18 to go to get 20, if he takes penalties too that should be easily doable.
We want 30... and a new deal.
They call me the calculator, not because I'm good at maths, but many x I like to ÷ + conquer.Blimey, JJ, I can't help wondering to myself, after taking note of the mental gymnastics involved in that calculation, whether you possibly missed out on your true vocation in life - as a mathematician
Surely, with that fighting spirit, Critch & co must be able to find you a place amongst the backroom staff at BR, particularly for those closely contested games where your rallying call to the 'troops' could be just the thing to turn fortunes out on the pitch in our favour! They call me the calculator, not because I'm good at maths, but many x I like to ÷ + conquer.
You'd think so, but sadly I'll just have to inspire those on here instead.Surely, with that fighting spirit, Critch & co must be able to find you a place amongst the backroom staff at BR, particularly for those closely contested games where your rallying call to the 'troops' could be just the thing to turn fortunes out on the pitch in our favour!
