Just a little extra motivation for the team to go and show the selectors up, by ensuring they failed to pick any players from one of the promoted sides in the team of the year.
How they haven't picked any of our defenders is a mystery. It's quite possible that we will finish the season with the best defensive record in the league.

I think Highfield is looking at a different team of the season like I am...... this on Cambridge's website doesn't have them in it but there's another one that does

His inclusion also met with complete incredulity if you look on the Sunderland forum. Apparently he has only been playing regularly since January?
