Leeds sack Bielsa

I see Leeds have parted company with their manager this morning. Wonder what their adoring fans think of that and what their latest master plan is ?
 
Whoever comes in will have a big task as they d played a weird formation and tactic for 3 years so it’ll take some urgent coaching to get the team firing again
 
If they are going for Jesse Marsch I think it won’t end well, don’t think he has the credentials or know how passionate the fan base is. Only time will tell, but he doesn’t hang around at clubs.
 
Certainly not one of those ‘ITK’ posts, merely a rumour - but a Manc mate mentioned to me that he had heard that due to Leeds recent form, eyes from Old Trafford had already been cast upon Bielsa.

Not as Manager/Head Coach, but maybe in a ‘Technical Director’ type role if that were acceptable to the incoming regime.

Sounds weird at first, but the more you think about it, it makes sense for both parties. Bielsa doesn’t have to move far, if at all & pockets a huge United salary with little or no pressure. United gain an experienced coach with a lot of experience & a belief in attacking football, which would appeal to the supporters after a somewhat anti-climactic season.

Perhaps wouldn’t go down a storm in the Gelderd End, mind ye….🤣

Bielsa lives in a club house, so he'd definitely have to move.
 
Interesting dilemma isn't it .. stick with the guy who brought you success or bin them when it looks like you're in trouble!
Maybe a few on here should read their posts about Aug/Sept
 
Think this'll be them relegated if they aren't careful, would've done better to wait till the end of the season and hope they stay up. Doubt anyone else will get a tune out of a team brainwashed with bielsa ball!
 
I mentioned this in a post on Saturday. His downfall was his own stubbornness by refusing to alter his tactics.
Wiz, funny you should mention Hughes. Lost his first game on Saturday and just cannot see him staying there.
With only a few miles between the 2 clubs I wonder if Hughes has a sinister plan and Bradford are in cahoots with him.
Can you imagine a 2 way zoom meeting.

Leeds owner :- “ Reet lad, were getting rid of Bielsa after Satday’s game ‘cos he’s feckin useless. We will then approach thee fo’ permission to speak with Hughesie and then offer a few million to buy out his contract.”

Bradford owner, “Na then. Sounds like a good plan to me. Hughesie is only on £5 an hour ‘cos he’s feckin useless as well but tha’ knows, board were desperate to get a big name in. All reet then, we’ll settle foh £100 million to get rid o’ useless fecker”

Leeds owner. “Reet lad, dun deal. I’ll gi’ thee a bell Satday.”
