Let's be honest

Critchley won there last year 😉.

Soooo by the same logic……….. 😉

If you are one of the so called fans who slagged Appleton off and wanted him out you are an absolute weapon

Night night
Agree, anyone could see that things were coming together with the way we were playing and matching top sides. Yet some weapons on here, high on negativity couldn't give Appleton the time get the team going and should eat humble pie. Up the ** Pool

The performances are a world apart.

Today showed us how the game should be played. So much passion, guts and attacking intent. None of that bland Critchley shit
K’kin hell were you born without an understanding of humour or did you lose it recently.

After some very poor early performances he was under (deserved) pressure to turn it around.
He has, fair play to him ... onward and upward.

Just a great away game - Shef Utd mate fully expected us to park the bus, was surprised how we took it to them even 2-0 down. Cracking away game, anyone slating Lavery or Jerry a bell end, both bust a gut today. 👍

There were a few who for whatever reason were against Appleton's appointment but I think most on here have supported him or at least been happy to give him time.
It would have been odd not to imo as he has been a well respected Coach/ Manager for at least 10 years.
He was already highly rated when he was given the job here first time round.

Perhaps calling them absolute weapons is a bit strong 🤣

However they were clearly wrong

He’s a good manager

I would have been happy with Rosenior also but as it has turned out MA was the better fit

I know there are arguments to suggest we struggled in the transfer window but I think we would have really really struggled without MA and his reputation and contacts

Rosenior and Duff wouldn’t have had the same influence with the prem clubs

I am away on the Isles of Scilly for October and there are fans of multiple clubs here (including Shef U) who appreciate the game at all levels. Tonight the discussion was Blackpool FC and this game. Four sendings off, six goals, scraps, shithousery, thrills and spills - we are newsworthy and I love it 👍

We played fantastic at Fulham away last year and got a point. We’re the people asking for his head weapons?

Wasn’t a fan of Critchleys style in the main and his Lilly liveried exit has left me summarising the guys a slime.

But it begs the question doesnt it.

Been on the edge of my seat more times this season, than two full seasons under Critchley.

At the end of the day, we go to the football for entertainment and that is what we get under Appleton.
You wanted Appleton sacked and Sadler to sell up a couple of weeks ago. You’re a nobber toilet.

Cracking day out from “The Taps” to home. That was a game and atmosphere to thrive on. The team bust-a-gut for the three points. And a ref to look forward to baiting!
Roll on next Saturday.

I dont like aggressive posts and name calling, but I think the sentiment should be that perhaps as a group of fans, we might think about judging rather than pre-judging.

It was disappointing that our owner, who for me has done nothing but demonstrate his commitment to act in the clubs best interests, had to make a clearly emotional public statement defending a managerial appointment before a ball had been kicked.

Shouldn’t matter if we think a signing or manager or choice of pie vendor is the one we wanted, we should reserve judgement until the evidence presents itself. And even then, civility costs nothing!
