I thought Coventry were shite even Appleton beat themHopefully
TBF, I’ve no problem with us taking the game to the Teams who are lower down the table, but yesterday was just suicidal really.

Coventry wouldn’t have been up there as a game we’d have anticipated winning, other sides haven’t broken away, so our situation hasn’t changed. As were Huddersfield and Rotherham. I know you think I’m either arguing for the sake of if or a pessimist, I’m neither, I prefer to think of myself as a realist. But would be delighted to be proven wrong.
Your basic premise that our situation hasn’t changed is materially wrong. It has changed in that our goal difference is 4 worse than before the Coventry game, and we have one game less to accrue the necessary points.Coventry wouldn’t have been up there as a game we’d have anticipated winning, other sides haven’t broken away, so our situation hasn’t changed.
That situation isn’t affected by how you think of yourself or how I think of myself. If you are a realist, an optimist or a pessimist the basic fact of the matter remains the same… It’s only the thoughts that you attach to the situation that differ.
Yet Wigan just drew with themIn fairness, Coventry at home was always going to be a stretch… So nothing has really changed.

Yep… We’d have probably drawn or beaten them with a decent ref too, but instead the game went to form.Yet Wigan just drew with them
I was convinced of a drawYet Wigan just drew with them
There's a reason why no one has put a like against your post.Sorry ,I don't think he was trying to ban the post. I just thought he had asked a simple question about the post .To answer that simple question my answer would be "No ,the original post is unhelpful and is in poor taste." So I don't understand why people have put a like to your post as nobody has tried to stop the original post.
And are you paying for that Phil ?Nailed on for relegation now I reckon, but all isn't lost
At least Dick McCarthy won't be in charge and most of the shitester players who can't pass the ball to a teammate are out of contract
So it's a clear out and start again
Let's just hope the club doesn’t fuck things up again
Young positive manager please, ideally who wants to keep the ball on the ground
Keep the faith
Utmp....
Frustratingly, I think we can have a go at Preston but, following the Coventry thrashing, he'll probably stick everyone behind the ball again.I think the brave and correct Managerial decision yesterday would have been to start much tighter, with a similar approach to Burnley tbh.
Unfortunately we probably got a bit carried away with the result on Tuesday and thought we could be more expansive….
Pants down time … As I predicted !
All going well and to plan so far then.I forcast to my family we will get 47 points, with wins against Preston, Wigan, Cardiff and West Brom.
Unfortunately 0 points from Coventry.
We beat them away. Means nothing.Yet Wigan just drew with them
Yes, last year! Current form is important. We beat them away. Means nothing.
This season.Yes, last year! Current form is important.
What on earth are you blabbering on about? And are you paying for that Phil ?
Last year, this season. Not sure what your point is? Our rivals are picking up points NOW which makes it harder for us to claw our way out. I don't like it either but facts are facts. Hope we can do it.This season.
Head in the clouds again WizaardLast year, this season. Not sure what your point is? Our rivals are picking up points NOW which makes it harder for us to claw our way out. I don't like it either but facts are facts. Hope we can do it.
Better than being suicidal and thinking we're doomed.Head in the clouds again Wizaard
It will be like winning the premier league if we stay up.Better than being suicidal and thinking we're doomed.
Bowler was playing and not doing a lot,
Darth was shite when came on yesterday. Josh looked sharper and I would be playing him but understood why he was dropped. Judd going off fu ‘ed us yesterday,
Yet he should start? That doesn't add up.Jesus
Poveda has played 10 minutes in the 3 weeks what do you expect?
He’s probably blabbering on about the cost of a bright new young manager and a big clear out that would involve signing some decent players on decent wages that would entice them to come here, imagine if we’d have got bishop, it’s depressing to see how many goals he’s scored, & yes it’s a league below but for the right money & not pissing about with the medical team saying he had a club foot or something when he was 2 years old then if he’d have scored half the amount of goals ( which I’m sure he would have) then we would be reasonably safeWhat on earth are you blabbering on about?

Its Wellens for me all day long!!! Should go all out for him. Let him build a new side completely.Nailed on for relegation now I reckon, but all isn't lost

McCarthy hasn't got a clueBetter than being suicidal and thinking we're doomed.
Played 5 away games lost 5 under MM with some absolute shocking performances.McCarthy hasn't got a clue
There isn't a chance we can win enough games playing his style of football
The away form and tactics of just letting the opposition have the ball will get us zero points
How many points has McCarthy got away from home?Played 5 away games lost 5 under MM with some absolute shocking performances.
He’s incapable of changing tactics away though as it’s all he knows.
A big fat zero. How many points has McCarthy got away from home?
4 winnable games as well and not one pointA big fat zero.
I’ll let him off at Boro cos they are a different level to us & most other teams, but the starting 11’s, tactical set-ups and performances at Swansea, Blackburn, Reading and Bristol City have been horrific & that’s on the Manager
Quite exciting when you consider what’s gone on this seasonNailed on for relegation now I reckon, but all isn't lost

Yeah only problem we have Bullshit Ben running thingsQuite exciting when you consider what’s gone on this season
Totally agree, the guy appears to be a bellend, SS can not bring in DOF that know his onions quickly enough.Yeah only problem we have Bullshit Ben running things
Evidence this season is that he can't run a bath
I don't particularly think we're good at clear out and start again and sadly that sort of a rebuild can take years and isn't guaranteed success. So it's a clear out and start again
Let's just hope the club doesn’t fuck things up again
