Lewis Fiorini

getting beat 2-0 at the moment, this development squad really is a waste of time.
it gets listed as a reserve game on all platforms but it’s nowhere a reserve team, it’s pointless it really is.

We've been in double figures for injuries most of the season, meaning anyone remotely close to the first team squad has generally been in that and given the Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday nature of the season when the development squad have had games the first team have had to.

But also the clue is in the name, development squad, it's general target is to develop the younger pros at the club and give them a chance to play (something like) competitive football if they can't get loans for them, it's not just somewhere for anyone not playing in the first team, although I suspect if we'd had less injuries one or two more may have been in there alongside the young lads.

Every club treats it that way btw, not just us

I liked what little I saw of Fiorini.
A midfielder who can get a foot in and looks to play a telling pass..exactly what we've been missing all season.
He was just beginning to look the part in the win against QPR away when he got injured.
If we can get him back in the fold for the rest of the season it would be a big bonus imo.

There was that magic 45 mins where Forini and Patino looked world beaters. It was going to be the partnership to take us to the play offs

Then…….
