Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari

My name is Colin, I've just parked up in my kia ceed estate as I've just dribbled down my cardigan on hearing this utterly riveting news.

Trouble is the bellends you talk of will be winning the championship for the foreseeable future as no one is anywhere near them both in constructors and drivers.

Record wise he's nowhere near Hamilton and give any team on that grid the choice between the two and every single one would go with Hamilton, I'd pick Alonso over Verstappen as well. The Merc was nowhere near Red Bull in 2021 yet Hamilton won the Championship bar a ridiculous last lap decision by the race director. It was also slower than the Ferrari in 2018, Bottas could only drag it to fifth in the standings. His Mclaren was slower than Ferrari in 2008 as well.

I'll rate Verstappen when he wins one in a slower car, like Hamilton and Alonso have, and when he stops giving drivers no choice but to back off or crash. That's all he does, then takes one of the most dominant cars since 1992 (the RB19 might be even more crushing than the FW14) for a cruise.

Formula one as two three or whatever is all about having the best car/team and the best driver.

Now I know it pains you for me to say it but right now Red Bull have the best car/team and driver and for what it’s worth it’ll be just as boring this coming season because Verstappen once again will walk away with it.

Yes, but Verstappen is still only a 'good' driver. About Vettel's level and no one is putting Seb with the greats.
 
Shame Hamilton isn't moving to Red Bull, that would really have been box office, but would have cost Red Bull too much in new cars each race.

Hamilton will have seen another season of Mercedes trying to catch up to Red Bull, where as moving to Ferrari is exciting and the car has at times looks good but not driven to its full potential by Sainz and Leclerc who are too inconsistent.

Whilst I'm not the biggest Ferrari fan, to see Hamilton be competitive in it next season would be ace.

Yep, it's an affair with an employee that resulted in an allegation of harassment, coupled with Verstappen refusing to back him today he's a goner.

Couldn't happen to a nicer spice girl shagging while your wife's pregnant fella.

Meanwhile Max is on pole for todays Bahrain GP so nothing changes on that front.

Anyway I’ve just watched Max’s interview on BBC news and all he says is it’s trying times for Horner and the team so I’m not sure what he’s supposed to say here? 🤷‍♂️
