What Critch says makes perfect sense. He's a decent manager at this level as will be shown by next May. It's a marathon not a sprint and as he said bearing in mind how little possession we had last season, this season will take a different mind set.

I just wish he'd say it in a more straightforward way.

"Look, I know it wasn't thrilling and we'll improve but we're building from the back and I'm pleased we're solid. The attacking fluidity will grow and I hope to see more on Saturday. A good attacking side needs the confidence in what's behind it too"

Would agree with that @td53 - he surely can't have been that happy on Tuesday and so be honest about it.
