Lift needed from London to Bristol & back

1k tickets sold apparently cambers, anyway my brothers driving us from Blackpool to Bristol on Saturday so I’ll ask him if he minds taking a slight detour- he likes driving so I can’t see a problem!

Could I suggest using the train?if you use the split ticket system it will cost 63:80p
Surely if a detour is made via London,it would cost nearly as much.
The M4 is not much better (traffic wise) than the M5 is, during the summer months
Don't think I would look forward to a diversion via London after the game after a (I presume) very early start.
Maybe Mega bus as an alternative?

It's bus service from Swindon, absolute pain in the arse.

I've just cancelled my train ticket from Newbury, Parson Street to Bristol Parkway services have now been replaced by a bus. I'll revert back to driving. If a lift from Newbury Station to Bristol works, I can pick you up there, I'll be setting off around midday.
