Light shows at grounds

No not mobile phones….. I’ve seen a few grounds have light shows before and after games. Spurs, Stoke and Middlesborough I’m sure they’ll be more grounds that do it too. Loud music and flashy lights basically….may almost seem a bit American anyway What are peoples opinions on it?
Listened to Thunderstruck in the car the other day and thought would be cool to have that blaring out at Bloomfield Road as the players walked out with SEASIDE been chanted in the THUNDER part of the song

I like the light shows/music before the games. At the end of the day football is as much entertainment now and if you want to increase crowds then you need to be doing stuff like this or anything else to increase 'the show' around a game. I actually think it's something Blackpool really lag behind with. Granted the speakers are awful and I doubt our floodlights are capable of doing any light shows but considering we are Blackpool and all the things Blackpool as a town is known for , I think we should really embrace 'the show' a bit more.

I'm sure it'd blend in perfectly well with Tony Parr sounding like Norman Collier on a PA system from Tandy.
Not on board with all this, "we need a better PA" bollocks, I never listened to the "sound system" anyway, better things at Bloomers to spend money on

Electricity prices are sky high - no way we going to do that sort of stuff....the prom's less than 1/2 a mile away and has good lights on I've heared......I say bring back the cheerleaders for a bit of pre match entertainment with Tango the ape!

We need to get the floodlights upgraded to LEDs , better/more light & cheaper to run..

& we could do lightshows 😂 🍊

A-Tense-Grin angrily tapping away on his keyboard whilst watching the game on a dodgy Firestick?
That's Critchey not considering the fanbase by playing Connolly at left wing back whilst other Blackpool fans lie and pretend they can see what Critchley is doing there and citing Trent as an example.

When the match starts BFC turn off from the national grid and use there own generators to produce the electricity they need for the game

I like my music loud but not when I am socialising 🧐

Bloody annoying when you go to grounds where it's so loud you can't even talk to your mates without shouting.

Need a new PA system first and foremost. But I agree, lights, different music to at least *try* and attract some more younger fans (I’m not saying we don’t play any classics at all, just mix it up a bit).

Of course none of this will happen until the east is built, but once it is we should start thinking outside the box and look forward.

That half time entertainment rubbish they put on is just abysmal. Why not do crossbar challenge or something win £100 if you hit it and it rolls over every game if no one does it. Fat blokes in slip on shoes having had a few beforehand, great entertainment. Let them pay a tenner and it goes to charity everyone’s a winner

They used to put a home and away fan in those inflatable balls in the Prem (and the season after?) and have them race. That was a good laugh.

Think it was sponsored by Wonga. I'd miss it now as I'm in the concourse at half time these days, but I used to enjoy watching that as a young'un with my bottle of pop.
