Recently hosted a £3000 lunch at a swanky restaurant owned by a Tory donor and then flew to Australia on a private jet, costing the UK taxpayers £500,000! Next PM? These lot really know how to take the mickey!
 
Let's face it. There are no statesmen or women to run the country. If Boris had never been PM people would be shouting for him to get the top job, just like last time.
 
Listened to an interview with her yesterday …..I couldn't believe how dim she sounded. How embarrassing it would be, to have her as PM and representing us on the world stage.

Yep, the intellectual equivalent of Johnson without the hackneyed Latin.
 
I might have heard her speak but can't remember anything she said and I know she can't help this but she is one of the most insipid, dull and dreary looking women I have ever seen.
Is this woman our next leader? the tories never cease to disappoint with the PMs they impose on us.

She could have flown first class with Qantas for £7,500.

Civil Servants aren't allowed to travel first class even if the ticket is cheaper than standard (which does happen). Perception is all, and the perception of Truss is that she's squandering public finances when we're squillions in debt.
 
Seems she insisted on private plane so no one could overhear her conversations ! Apparently she signed a deal with South Australia. That will probably bring in less than the cost of the flight.
 
The plane is government transport to allow government ministers to conduct government business overseas and the minister who does the most overseas business is the Foreign Minister. Is it right to spend so much money on this? who knows. Has it anything to do with Liz Truss? No. Is it the PM's fault. Course it is. Everything is. 🥱

Laugh all you like, but the dearth of politicians with any kind of leadership qualities means that if BJ hadn't been made PM in 2019 voters would be clamouring to make him leader now. One way or other, sooner or later, like it or not he was going to lead the country.
