Loan Players

According to Nixon in the Sun, when a team takes on a loan player from a premier league club for example Blackpool with Patino, they are

entitled to a slice of the transfer fee when they get sold in the future, apparently for coaching them and giving them experience. Something I

wasn't aware of but explains why we have so many loan players this season.

Christ, we've set Charlie Patinos development back about 5 years.

It will be negotiable, I bet it’s common practice for the loanee club to sign to waive their future percentage in order to get the player in.

Apparently, Man City are trying to close the loophole of compensation for loan players, so guessing it must come from the FA or EUFA as

legislation. But it could explain the choice of Appleton, he obviously sold himself on the ability to bring in young loans, not forgetting also his

connection with his former agent when the fans didn't want him. It may also explain why Critchley's name is getting mentioned again when

a lot of the fans don't want him back. It just shows how much the championship has changed since we got promoted under Ollie,

then we got loans that made the team better, this season we get loans in order to potentially create a revenue stream in the future.

Only an educated guess , but I'm thinking most clubs will have a similar amount of loan players in the efl

This might set a new trend; starting a new paragraph mid-sentence.

Don’t read anything that Nixon bloke says and definitely don’t believe it

I would sooner completely change our loan policy
Develop our own youth players in the team here
And bring older experienced players in on loan
As it stands anyone who shines goes back to their parent club anyway
Who knows how good Apter Trusty and co can be given a chance
