Lobster boy

It was my nephew Ralph - aged 11. That was his 8th away game of the season I think.

One of my highlights of the season has been attending numerous away games with him and his brother Jack (13) with my brother in law. It was the first season where they have travelled a lot and have absolutely loved it!!!

I didn't go yesterday but according to my brother they all had a great day despite the team performance.

Roll on next season!!

slight correction chris, ralph was lobster post-match. pre-match it was a different lad (can't remember his name, sorry). there was some discussion as to whether they were just a pair of prawns! it was certainly a langoustine day.

absolutely delighted that the kids (and us overgrown kids) got a pre-match photo and chat with the legend that is Jordan Gabriel, it more than made up for the disappointing performance.

and happier still that this has been a rewarding and game-changing season for a lot of our of our younger fans. they were very nearly part of a 'lost generation' of support so seeing them really enjoying the away-day experience has been a highlight for me.

Shame we got scalloped 5-0.

Apparently Critch held the players back in the dressing room for an hour and gave the languestine talk he's ever given. 👍
And I heard he was so angry that he wouldn’t let Jerry go for a Winkle even though he put his hand up and asked politely…

After that performance, some of the players should be shown the (thermi)door.

Sorry.
