Looking ahead ...

Was always going to be a tough season this year and am just hoping that we find our groove with Bruce, get a good Jan/Summer under our belts and go for it next season. If we can get rid of Wrexham, Brum and a big threat side what is coming down from the Championship looks average and really give it a go next season.
Not given up on this year yet but think next season could present a better opportunity and wonder if promotion this season would need a massive rebuild at the wrong time for the club

Can I ask how you know what's being said to Sadler by this "wrong person" (and who that is?)....within the club.
Not being funny....but it seems to be the same line that a few keep trotting out for the situation were in.

Imagine being a Birmingham fan or a Plymouth fan when they announced Rooney as their new manager.
Imagine being a Coventry fan today with Lampard......The 'wrong' people weren't giving the owners of those clubs the "wrong" advice.
They thought they were the best available people at that time and in that situation....but it didnt work out

It's a lottery.....if it was that easy to get the best managers, amazing players and gain promotion.....why don't the other 23 teams in each league do it.

My meme highlights the same line....by the same people.....saying the same thing without any thought or understanding
It could be Sadler, Piley or Haythornthwaite (?) as our owner.....it's all just a lottery......

Sorry, but Julian Winter has gone. This new guy doesn't seem to mix with the fans like Winter, for 99.9% of fans that go to game's that's no problem. I just think some people want to highlight a problem that isn't even there for the majority.....

Now I have to go and do some work.....see ya later.

Says a lot when we’re relying on how good the quality of the opposition is to determine whether we can have a good season or not. Bit of a negative mindset to have.

You're welcome for my insightful suggestion and I'm not in the slightest offended how you think, it's your opinion 👍🏻
I can't imagine, or indeed want to be a Birmingham, Coventry or Plymouth supporter so unfortunately that paragraph fell on stoney ground.
Whatever the lottery has to do with this thread god only knows as I'm not talking about the manager, imo it's a decent appointment 👌.
It's Mansford that has departed not Winter and imo, it is he and Downs who are giving Sadler the wrong advice. The problem is there as they've wasted thousands of Sadlers money on useless signings. If you fail to see that problem that's your prerogative.

Imagine .. it would send Sadler in to a downward spiral if we got promotion - I can't even begin to think where we'd start and how many of this side we could confidently say were good for the Championship .. 3/4?
