We need a proper reserve league again where we can play those either coming back from injury or those trying to regain form.

As for Lowe, he should know Critchley has a poor record in developing our own youngsters.
 
This is why I said on yesterdays thread that I wanted Critch to address what Lowe had claimed.
It's a reserve game so of no real importance to supporters so why would Lowe come out with lies after a defeat. Only reason I can see is to curry favour down that end of the 55. He's a wind up merchant. Ridsdale probably put him up to it.

So the goal was to wind us up and get us talking about them and then for it to be masterfully revealed that their manager is a 'strange' liar who got exposed quickly and easily, which made him and them look stupid.

Well mission accomplished.

None of our starters on Saturday played.
Only 2 from our bench.
So half were kids.
I was at last seasons reserve game v pne, who played several 1st teamers against our kids, did we complain when losing 3-0?

It's utterly bizarre.

They're flying high in the championship and we're in League 1, they lose a central league game vs some unfit mostly fringe 1st team squad and dev squad, which they knew all about in advance, like we did last season, and he feels the need to come out and try and pull the wool over their fans eyes in the name of getting brownie points in the bag?

Very 'strange' tinpot behaviour.

If we'd been a championship club for nearly a decade, I'd expect to be producing some talent that can compete with a team with half development players and half unfit mostly fringe league 1 players, but maybe that's just me.

Let's not forget the fact that this goal was entirely our development players.
