Luton Town

Just about to watch them at Chelsea and I want them to get hammered and finish with a pathetic amount of points. I'm like this with most teams that come up and I can't quite work out why. I normally go for an underdog and I've no particular hatred of Luton. Anybody else like this? It's obviously to do with us in the prem but I'm sure they won't be threatening our 39 points. It's a strange one.

Have you seen a doctor?

I've always found Luton fans alright. They've been through a lot just like us. Proper supporters not glory fans.

Chelsea were electric until they scored.

Hopefully Luton can get a smash and grab here.

Sorry but every time I hear a commentator, pundit, or fan say something condescending or patronising about Luton (which any comment about them invariably is), it reminds me of how we were treated and it just makes me want them to stuff the other teams even more. Couldn't care less what their stadium's like tbh. They got there because their team was good enough and that makes them no worse on the pitch than any other club that's been promoted.

I'm wanting your Bournemouths, Brightons, Lutons to stick it to the moneybags teams. Like our season in the sun(half season?)

Too easy to buy success.
Bournemouth absolutely bought their way from the Champ to the Prem. Broke financial fair play regulations under their Russian owner. Received a derisory (relatively speaking) fine for it.

For all of Wizard’s comments re Luton which are hard to argue with, Luton did it without an owner with gambling connections (hello Brighton and Brentford) and without breaking FFP (hello Bournemouth and Leicester City).
