M55 Closure at Full Time

Really slow going down Yeadon Way, nothing to suggest that they had closed the M55 at Helter-Skelter. A work pickup truck parked across both lanes and a bloke putting up barriers to block it. To say there was nearly carnage is an understatement. Why no signs on Yeadon Way FFS? The amount of cars getting caught out and doing a 360 around the roundabout thus slowing them coming off Yeadon Way was frightening.

Bloody awful planning as usual.

Exactly my thoughts. 2,000+ Vale fans too all going the direct route home. Clifton Road past Tesco was of consequence gridlocked too.
