People are moaning we hoof it to Madine now, Warnock paid £6m for Madine and notoriously plays hoofball.......add into that he's nearly 75 and based in Cornwall, he's not remotely the model the club have said they want and is probably out of our budget.........other than that it's a great shout

Here's an idea that might assist our survival. Stop playing Carey and Patino as the midfield base. Game after game they get bypassed. Tackling is not their game so if they do get the ball, and lose it, which happens far too often, we're goosed. We'd be harder to beat, and get more attacking chances, if we played Dougal and Trybull there. Then we could have a creative three of, say, Bowler, Poveda and CJ/Morgan, with Jerry up top. Plus, with that defensive base we could afford Lyons at RB for more attacking options, and have plenty of choices off the bench to freshen things up.

Virtually everyone can see this, and it should have been the basis for yesterday's starting 11.

Win on Saturday and the same numpties who are singing 'sacked in the morning' every time we concede will be singing 'Appletons Tangerine Army' - just as they did against Forest. Clueless, Fickle and Embarassing.

Agreed. Steve Thompson is the key man. The rest is just window dressing.
Though I would demur to apply that rude description to Mr Evatt, nor to Mr Dobbie, out of respect for them as players.
But Thommo is key for his vision of the game.

Don’t think I heard anyone singing that after the Forest game. Did you dream it?
 
He picked the wrong team at Watford. The bench was stronger than the starting eleven, and he did nothing until it was too late. How CAN you justify starting with two men who have hardly played this season, on a flakey midfield base ?

I agree the team was wrong, I've no problem playing Rogers and Bowler but they had to be wide, Yates should always be in the team whether that's just off Madine as a 10 or instead of as a 9 depends whether Poveda is fit I guess........Carey and Patino blatantly need a rest and TryBull and dougall are sat on the bench (I'm not Kenny's biggest fan) but at least he brings a little bit of tackling ability and experience in the middle
