Madine doing rehab with us

There's a video on TTV of the players playing darts with Peter Wright. Gary features heavily and there's a few brief words with him at the end of the piece about his rehab which he says is going very well.
I'm not sure if he will be fit enough for a contract to be even a consideration but it looks like he will be around until his rehab is completed.

@td53 right now...

As long as it doesn't cost the Club, I can see him being a good spirit around the place.

I wish him well in his recovery and hope he can earn a contract somewhere or is taking the opportunity to do some coaching badges if he's that way inclined.

It wouldn't be like school would it with Gaz coaching. "Reet lads, it's double shithousng this afternoon followed by a few jars'
.and then we'll all ga for a dip in the sea.

No, Jordy G, ya can no use a snorkel. What? It's for to be only 5 minutes. And then we'll duwn a bruwn. No, Jordy it's a drink.

In the years Pool have had Gazza, he has NEVER had the service from wide players that he thrives on. Bowler, left footed, always cut in. CJ, left footed, always fired it in on the ground. Nobody ever centred the ball from the by-line to the far post; the service he thrives on. We are not playing in the PL next term. L1 is a roughhouse. We could do worse, IF we have the players who can provide the service he need.

We're not going to play with old fashioned wingers and he's not likely to be fit to play for ages. I do hope he gets sorted out. He seems to have really settled down at Blackpool and he has spoken of his admiration for Critch i thibk he'll bust a gut to get fit and prove himself cos he's at a crossroads in his career.

Pay as you play contract (instructions ,just stay on the half way line, keep onside hold the ball and await our wing backs to come bombing up the wings) ,then when pushed in the back by the opposition defender fall down and get us as many free kicks as you can 🤣 👍 .

Think it’s common, insurers or league cover costs I remember someone saying

Whatever the long term plan the club has for him, if they even have one, it’s the correct thing to do. He was injured when playing for us so only right he gets to use the facilities for his recovery.

When a player suffers a serious injury and their contract expires during that time the PFA pay expenses for them to do their rehab and get back to fitness with the club they were at, I believe it's for 6 months. The same thing happened with Grant Ward last season.

If Gary Goals is out until the new year the 6 months will take him right up to that so you never know, he'd be a real asset in League one if fit. I've said it before on here, the guy suffered a serious injury and tried to play on, compare that commitment to some others over the last couple of seasons and I know who is rather have at the club.
