Had he not been injured he would have had received a yellow card.
.look back at the challenge and the ball had long gone before he makes his “side on “ challenge.
The guy is a liability and has no composure whatsoever.
As for Jerry’s sitter. You would expect better from a striker but you can guarantee people will jump to his defence but had it been Hamilton who missed that chance he would have got slated.

Madine definitely went in with intent, spectacularly back fired though !
Jerry's miss, well in our predicament with the amount of chances being limited , he need's to take these opportunities

Jerry's miss sums us up, no composure whatsoever and the ball demanded to be hit with his left foot and he had no confidence to do that so an easy chance goes begging.

Misses like that cost vital points and we cannot afford to miss sitters.

I wish too apologise for the above outburst with the caveat that

a) we're in the shit without Gaz
b) Gary = goals
c) I've been drinking in the day.
d) WEVE GOT ONE FIT STRIKER.

My comment was serious not a wind up
With the players we have left, Madine's loss is ** painful.

I said at start of year he shouldn't be a starter.

We're now where we are, playing direct football with one quite small striker. We desperately need a physical option.

If people want to get their rocks off about Gaz's injury, them who am I to question the sanity of that.

It's like celebrating having no goalkeeper or summat.

I haven't got the energy to explain that to the whole internet.

A post of pure prejudice than sense. First he stayed on so the ref could have booked him, but he didn't and it was not a booking, simple as. Secondly it was obvious that one of our main problems is the lack of challenge and winning loose balls, this is largely due to a lack of commitment. Madine showed commitment in spades in that challenge and its a shame that most of his colleagues backed off all too easily for much of the game. Hope he's able to play in our run in.

Madine having just returned from a suspension for being sent off didn't waste much time in launching himself late into another needless challenge and getting injured. I think Mick got his subs wrong he should have done a double substitution and brought both Rodgers and Dougall on and taken off Garbutt, and pushed Carey into a more forward role, with Rodgers on the left wing. He should have changed the shape to 4-2-3-1.

I like Gaz as a player but he’s let us down on a couple of occasions this year.
