Hopefully he won't, he's been brilliant for England and escaping Manure is good for him and the national side. He's been used as a scapegoat far too often... will hopefully lead to Wet Spam’s downfall
If West Ham can get Maguire, McTominay and Ward-Prowse over the line, it'll be good use of the Rice sale funds. That said, they still look light up front with the sale of Scamaca. If City do nab Paquetta, it'll be a very dull team to watch.Decent player in the right system, but a stupid fee, no idea about club playing style and then making him captain we’re all diabolical decisions.
McTominay is another interesting one. Converted to midfield from striker by Mourinho because of his height, and looks lost as a defensive mid. Looks a decent player for Scotland when freed up. As he’s a Lancaster lad, I fully expect to see him in tangerine for the 2031/32 season after he’s recovered from his second acl injury.
He’s not a scapegoat, he’s poor in a back 4. He hasn’t got the pace or positional awareness to play effectively in a back four, especially one that plays a high line. The only reason he looks half decent for England is because in the bigger games, they play a back 5 where he’s got two other CBs to bail him out.Hopefully he won't, he's been brilliant for England and escaping Manure is good for him and the national side. That's just your opinion. There's a good reason Manure paid £80M, West Ham are happy to pay £30M and he gets selected for England every game. He was left exposed at United under poor managers with poor players around him. Then the boo boys and keyboard warriors made him their scapegoat. So yes, his form was affected. I for one hope United and 'Wish Pep' bomb this season and it would be great to see Maguire prove a lot of the doubters wrong. He’s not a scapegoat, he’s poor in a back 4. You can’t defend the indefensible.
It’s just your opinion as well. It just so happens that more people agree with me than they do with you. Read into that what you will….That's just your opinion. So you've polled the entire worlds population? It’s just your opinion as well. It just so happens that more people agree with me than they do with you. Read into that what you will….
So explain why he's been nothing short of excellent for England? He was excellent for Shef Utd and Leicester. The common denominator is Manure, not Maguire.Whilst he was vilified, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, he is bang average at that level.
Just because clubs pay silly money for you doesn’t mean you are that good,
