just been reading the match reports, and specifically the comments from the new superstar head coach who says they need better players, theyve just spent 200million or so on top of what they spent last year on world class internationals. You would think that a so called super coach would revel in the quality of players that he has at his disposal and if they werent quite playing at the level he is expecting he needs to look at why. Player quality (difficult to make this claim considering the money spent although many are seriously overpaid), the system they play isnt good or the players arent motivated enogh both i think possible problems with the coach.

Ten Haag's biggest acheivements are winning the Dutch league with the team with by far the most resources and a good run in the Champion's League. He's regarded as a good manager but I don't think anyone should be under the impression he is a "superstar head coach".
