Appears to have the right sort of background and a good rapport with the Shrewsbury fans.
Just had a look on the Shrews. fans website and he seems a football guy who was well respected by their fans. No idea if this will happen but if it does he seems a good guy.

Given he took over from Matt Williams at Shrewsbury, it all seems to fit together.
Don't think so as the club are waiting to unveil a new sporting director "when they can" so could be Caldwell, or someone else !

With money tight maybe we should look to bring in some experience and a CEO that understands the club and understands the fans.
One that has a history of working to a tight budget and ideally one who can bring plenty of media interest to the club?

If nothing else it makes the CEO position less of a lightning rod. After all, people in the game know Ben Mansford and what he’s achieved in his career — who would want to come here as CEO now?
