Unbelievable details coming out, he says he met men on a dating app, was held in a flat and called his ex campaign manager at 3.15am to pay £6500 to get him released. His current campaign manager paid £6500 from her savings and she was repaid from campaign funds. There’s more, £14k from campaign funds for medical bills and other stuff.
 
Includes a 3am phone call for payments of £6.5k from his constituency workers because he was being held against his will. Also payments for sex from a male escort. Very dangerous place the Fylde these days! How do they vet these MPs? Parliament is full of corrupt, self serving, dishonest, intollerent, incompetent, perverted people (chose your combination these) these days. One of the reasons I am not voting at the next election.

Phil, you're forgetting the rules for posting on this part of the board, i.e. anything other than excusing and vindicating left wingers, whilst condemning and repudiating right wingers is not allowed. Oh and RWNJ is the common name for anyone who thinks otherwise whereas LWNJ's are just a figment of your imagination.

The other scandal re MM is that the Conservative Party have covered it up for 3 months pending their investigation. Theyve only withdrawn the whip ( ! ) after the Times broke the story. Far worse than anything Rayner might have done.

It's not. It's a misuse of Parliamentary funding for private means. He also used campaign funds (which have to be specifically spent on campaigning) to pay private medical bills. No NHS for him.

Just what I've read on Twitter a complaint of theft or fraud would have to be reported to the policend I can't see that happening.
 
I've been reading about stuff in a book 10 years ago about this upstanding member of Parliament. Allegations of getting a dog drunk, apparently his plea that he only photographed it was accepted. His Brazilian lover was an illegal immigrant. Wonder if he was on the list of phone numbers given out by Wragg.

Any of you traditional Tories with morals in Fylde unhappy that you and your fundraising has been taken for a ride?
 
Wasn't Menzies in trouble before the 2015 Election for showing a Rent Boy around the House of Commons and obtaining drugs from him?
Then the good people of Fylde voted him back in with the highest majority in the country.
How do you become an MP these days? What's the selection criteria or do you just send in 6 Zoom ice lolly wrappers like Benton and Maynard and go in a free draw.
 
Menzies has issues with this sort of thing before should have got rid of the self serving useless bastard when he was caught doing the Mdma with a Brazilian rent boy, it was something like that anyway.
Also had an incident where he was alleged to have got a neighbours dog pissed!
The man is a liability but it just shows how broken the system is when he always gets elected with a huge majority!
 
I’m sure he’s guilty as charged, but he has said he’s innocent, so let’s wait and see. Miracles rarely happen, but you never know.
 
You have to feel a little bit for the Tory councillors who do a decent enough job in this part of FY8 at least getting totally let down by this power abuser. I'm sure there will be votes against as a result come May.

I'm no Tory btw just being fair.

I agree and they need to take back control of their party from the current nut jobs. Whislt I have never been Tory, I had respect for the old style noblesse oblige, like Douglas Hurd, very pleasant chap, Peter Carrington, Ken Clarke, etc. etc. The problem is, Boris had them all purged post Brexit, and the Tory Party lost its morality in the rush to make as much money as possible now and in the future by binning a hundred years of democratic progress.
