Blackpool taking the Mick

Mick McCarthy has left Blackpool. He’s been replaced by someone called ‘the senior professional development lead phase coach’. Of course he has.

Wonder how many times Dobs has used that title!!

A journalist who can't be bothered to do his homework shocker. Most journalists are full of it which is why I pay little attention to any of them.

He also told us to stop being silly re boycotting the play off final in 2017 and how the team “needed our support” on the Sunday supplement. He has never done much homework on us

Nearly all his S.Times columns include a rant against the idea of an independent football regulator, arguing (ineffectively) it will do little to root out rogue owners and saying that no financial redistribution is needed because the Premier League is a shining beacon of competitiveness (yes, really).

The latter is more likely to be based on him being a Wet Spam fan and reiterating the view of his club, which is "Keep your hands off our humungous pile of money, you plebs, know your place".

The guy's an idiot.

Correct - and no doubt enjoying more than his share of premier league hospitality

He likes to see himself as the thinking man's journalist,he is just a mouthpiece for the monied football clubs.
