Not relevant to this head to head, but David McGoldrick is 35, 6' 0" played 39 games for Derby in League 1 last season and scored 22 goals.

I think Chris Martin could thrive in League 1, but it's been suggested that he wants more than a one year contract. Maybe asking a little too much. May be worth a gamble.

The key is fitness. If we're after a week in, week out player I think 34 is probably pushing it to be honest.
I'd say a gamble worth taking as he's a pro but wages will play a big part.
