Match off

If it is to be called off( which I doubt as none of the forecast suggest a severe frost) then can it be at least be done early…..I’d be well peed off if I drive the 60 miles to get there early afternoon (for a decent parking spot) only to find it got called off late 😡…
 
Really want this game on,
I'll just make it home in time for the England game, so I understand people's frustrations with that.
However we need to see what Appleton can do after his mini preseason and a handful of players returning.

Also Brum's long anticipated take over bid has just fallen through I expect that does filter down to the players and management.

Get it played and get them beat.

I agree, we don’t want others around us gaining points on us, we need to play and win and get out of that bottom 3 asap!
 
The last thing we need is a rejuvenated 'Pool coming out all guns blazing to show what they can do, then getting stress injuries because of the pitch/weather.
 
Its a cold spell but not something that covers shouldn't cope with, but it's not getting exactly tropical during the day. I'd expect a 25% risk of it being frozen off. Hope it's on & we can win, even though I can't go.
 
Strange going to Bloomfield road just 2 weeks before Christmas to watch a league game in freezing cold conditions then going home to watch England play in the Quarter finals of a World Cup later that evening. 🤷‍♂️

Over here in Cheadle Hulme ( Stockport) it was perishingly cold last night and we woke up to a heavy frost and it has only just got above 32f ( hate Celsius😡)this afternoon.
Been out much of the day and not far from Edgeley Park so thought no way County’s replay would be on tonight but so far it seems it is so with our covers in place saturday should be ok for BR….though I do wish the KO was 2pm…as getting back for the England game is going to pose a problem as the wife will want to eat before kick off at 7 and sandwiches or tinned soup will not be tolerated😢

one thing for certain that pitch tonight will start to freeze up so wouldn’t fancy playing on it😳 but if it still on then I will watch on ITV4 which I think are showing it.

My team is and always has been BFC but I have lived here since 1977 and my parents and grand parents were Stockfordians so it will be Hi oh County Hi oh County tonight.

I believe they're considering calling it off if Appleton's protein shakes are in danger of freezing, without these he doesn't have the energy to manage the team from the touchline by scowling, folding his arms, standing stock still and doing fuck all else.

We can only dream of tasting marmite. My wife said she wanted to experience green tea so I duped her by boiling my piss and told her it was Holland & Barrett's finest. Now she can't get enough of it!😳
