Was told he disappeared down the tunnel at the end and had to be dragged back by club staff to applaud the fans. Not what is expected from a captain if that is true. We were all hurting at the result and performance.

At the end it looked like Steve Banks? had to tell Maxwell to applaud the fans.
Maybe he knows his reign as #1 keeper is over at Bloomfield Rd 🤷
 
While it's wonderful to have two first choice keepers of such quality, I don't think it's fair to either of them to keep both. They're too good to spend half a season sat down.

Purely to be fair to them, I'd let one go and take Moore as the backup, and an emergency loan if needed beyond that if the. Youth lady's not ready.

Not too bothered which one we keep, happy with either. If absolutely backed into a corner I'd probably go with Grimshaw.

If of course both are happy to stay and compete for the slot, then great.

He always speaks from the heart and is very articulate & passionate about his role as skipper. He admits that he hates losing, even in training and that's a trait that some of those who played yesterday need to develop. You can tell that yesterday hurt Max.
