Very much well deserved, then he goes and saves 3 penalties in a penalty shootout on his first game back from Covid!

I was getting worried about Maxwell at the start of the season after having so much faith in him to begin with, but he's improved in leaps and bounds.....................thoroughly deserved.

I think we were all scratching our heads at the start of the season wondering what was going on, it seemed like teams were having 1 or 2 shots on target and winning 1 - 0. I started wondering at what point you begin to ask questions of the keeper.

Something else a lot questioned was his command of his box and collection from crosses/corners. He was absolutely immense at that against Accrington. Great to be proven wrong sometimes!

Not proven wrong TP, early in the season he was glued to his line. Now he's far more in command of his area and doing well on crosses.

I just tried to vote in the FA cup player of the round and Maxwell didn't even feature in the nominations! In fact the only Pool player you can vote for is Jerry up front. To vote for him you have to pick from their poxy list for all the other positions.
