First was a good strike but Maxwell’s positioning was absolutely terrible for it. Second was 100% Maxwell’s fault. He’s awful. We wouldn’t be 2-0 down with Grimmy in goal.

It beggars belief that this incompetent “keeper” continues to be selected . It’s very simple in my opinion, play Maxwell and we go down nailed on . On occasion ok but in the main exceptionally poor .

Yes Hamilton contributed . Maxwell cannot do the basic bread and butter goalkeeper stuff . I am sure the defence have no confidence in him .

I have said it all bloody season, Maxwell is diabolical, I also blame Steve Banks, surely he should have been pushing for Grimshaw if he knows anything about goalkeeping.

It's pretty much unheard of but I would sub him off at half time, catastrophic performance, flapping at most corners, distribution is awful, keeps hoofing it to thr smallest guy in the pitch and certainly responsible for the free kick and arguably should have done better for the first

Banks is clearly having influence in selecting him, it's just a shocking situation.
Goes back to Appleton making him his number 1.
Maxwell is not a good keeper.

The 2nd goal was shocking, he can’t have lined the wall up properly as from where I was stood it looked like it went around the wall rather than over or through it.
He just never seems to actually save anything that’s on target.

I posted on another thread that Steve Banks should be pushing Grimshaw. Maxwell was bad against Coventry and even worse today. We are the worst team in the league with regards to conceding from

The blokes stolen a living all his career. He is not big enough or athletic enough to be a modern day keeper. They are supposed to command the box and put the defence at ease. He does neither of these.I am sure he only wears gloves to keep his hands warm because he sure cant cant catch with them. Grimshaw must be thinking what the hell he has done to sit on the bench and watch Maxwells weekly shit show.
