Just watching Udders and caught Maxwell on the bench - has he figured much for them this season?
He was first team keeper until he got injured just before Christmas. The curse of the hamstring followed him.Just watching Udders and caught Maxwell on the bench - has he figured much for them this season?
Clearly, in those matches in which he featured, and which you had the misfortune to observe, it sounds very much as though he was trying to capture the essence of his final appearances between the sticks as Pool's first choice keeper, before his final - and most welcome! - departure, following a number of games in which he delivered performances which could only best be described as being a bit 'betwixt and between'. And that's me being kind!I thought Darren seemingly favored him for a while.
He was somewhat shocking in the games I saw though
Sounds like it must have been a bit of a low point in Darren's managerial career ...I thought Darren seemingly favored him for a while.

I appreciate there are a fair few of us who have a bit of a downer on the bloke, but, I have to say, referring to him as 'it' does rather strike me as being a little unkind ...I saw him outside Bloomfield Road before the Oxford game at home this season, thought it was odd
Because some of our fans are always looking for a scapegoat.I think if we'd lost Grimmy and Maxwell had been our number one this season, he'd have received even more abuse than Critchley.
Was a marked man for some weird reason last season.
