I only subscribed my £1.99 per month a few weeks back. These group chats are are just gold.

This is how everyone should get to know their sports stars. Whoever came up with this genius idea should patent it, go around the Premier Leagues of all major footballing nations, even other sports like the NFL and then sail away on a big solid goal, diamond encrusted yacht patting themselves on the back.

I don't listen to interviews with footballers if I can possibly help it.

I am, however, interested in the nature of reality, and I think Terry Pratchett's vision of the Universe was unusually prescient. Where he went wrong was wandering off down a cul-de-sac populated by elephants and turtles. Had he really thought about the central role of football in modern life, he would have realised that the world sits on the back of a flock of owls, who themselves are roosting inside an enormous Hillsborough careering through space.
