Patino (sub) equalises in the last minute v lowly Huddersfield with Jerry benched.
Against Maxi too who had a good game from the reports. Four points in two games now for Hudds, Maxi in for both.Patino (sub) equalises in the last minute v lowly Huddersfield with Jerry benched.
I hope Charlie flourishes somewhere, I really liked the lad and wish him the very bestI don't think Jerry has done so well at Swansea since he went there? I've Not really followed the Championship this season though.
5 goals in 18 games according to his wiki.
Suppose that's not bad.
Charlie Patino seems to have done better.
I wonder where he'll end up once he settles somewhere?

Yes. Scores in spells, barren spells, but always works hard on and off the ball.Jerry used to have barren patches for us too. Then he’d get regular goals in patches. I don’t expect Swansea will have the patience to see the eventual rewards. They want instant success without the Kane / Haaland / Mbappe money.
You`ve changed your tune . When he`d got one in two games or something similar at the start of the season you were rabbiting on about his hot strike rate ... so now it`s he shouldn`t judged on his strike rate alone. No why ever should a striker ever .be judged on his strike rate obviously not, perhaps on his assists then? Guess how many he`s had so far this season ,oh dear a big fat zero. What a player!!!Yes. Scores in spells, barren spells, but always works hard on and off the ball.
If he's judged on goals alone they might not be happy, but that would be unfair.
I've always said he's a decent Championship striker over a season. He scores in streaks. Did for us too, but when he's not scoring, he'll still add value through workrate. You`ve changed your tune . I seem to recall after Critchley had viewed him for half a season,he too decided his best position was on the bench . Quelle surprise.
Grass isn't always greener!
Neither am I.Swansea fans are not impressed with Yates.
Swansea fans are not impressed with Yates.
Why do you say that?
Never stops running and scores goals, same as he did for us.
You do realise Critchley signed him in League One when he became our first player to score 20+ league goals in 30 years? You`ve changed your tune . Thats cheered me up.Swansea fans are not impressed with Yates.

He gives 100% of that I`ll agree. His talent as a striker is extremely limited as Critchley acknowledged by putting him on the bench for a good deal of his first season in the Championship with us.You do realise Critchley signed him in League One when he became our first player to score 20+ league goals in 30 years?
If it wasn't for Yates in our last Championship season we'd have been relegated by February. He isn't the most prolific striker in the Championship but he still offers a lot to the team when he isn't scoring. That being said in a woeful side last season he still got into double figures with his goals, it's ridiculous to say he doesn't have quality.
Scored plenty of important goals for us, not sure how anyone could dislike him.
I think that's a bit of unfair comparison as Rhodes hasn't had a decent championship season for about 8 years. You're comparing Yates in the championship to Rhodes in League One. I reckon over the course of this season Yates and Rhodes would have similar scoring records - Yates scored over 20 prior to spending 2 seasons in the Championship, he'd have come down with us and been on fire. He's still young with more experience at a higher level. He gives 100% of that I`ll agree. His talent as a striker is extremely limited as Critchley acknowledged by putting him on the bench for a good deal of his first season in the Championship with us.
His overall record for three clubs in the Championship is 28 goals in 128 games ( helped by several penalties he got 22 goals in TWO championship seasons and 80 games for us. Not exactly prolific.)
Rhodes though now past his prime has still illustrated for us this season the clear difference between a natural finisher and a mere trier like Yates.
Just read their forum a few weeks ago. They don't feel he is good enough.
To be honest, at Championship level, it's no surprise. Sometimes, a player suits a club but then struggles elsewhere.
I'll keep up when I give a shit. You need to keep up.
A few weeks ago is not much use it is it.
We all know he can do the business in the Championship and he’s proved it again.
If 15 goals + per season then what is?
I'll keep up when I give a shit.
He's gone and we now have Beesley, Kouassi, etc to enjoy.
Who knows if this is true but am told Jerry never wanted to go to Swansea and was more keen on a move to Coventry but money spoke (and presumably the Kyle Joseph swap made that one more attractive)I don't think Jerry has done so well at Swansea since he went there?
The reason was, he is everything that Jerry isn't........ SHITE !!!!!!Meanwhile Callum Wright scores a late winner against Stoke.
Strange decision to get rid of him so quick.
Knobhead.Jerry was a brilliant player for us you nobhead.
Could happen.Loan deal in Jan would be good.
Nobhead is how I choose to spell it. End of.Knobhead.
Who said I was alerting you to the spelling?Nobhead is how I choose to spell it. End of.
It's a no lose come back. You retort aggressively having been insulted and I say (in a hurt manner), "I was only correcting your spelling." However, as you had anticipated the spelling response I changed tack and turned it into an insult.I had a feeling you’d come back with that it is factually correct anyway. Googl ‘nob’ to confirm
