I've got several ad block type apps installed on my galaxy phone but none seem to have the desired effect of obliterating all the ads which spoil this site.
Any help/advice welcomed.
 
I’d pay 10 quid a year for a n add free site.

Obviously you would still be able to use for free and have ads.
 
I hated the earwax one, and the bras for chubby ladies was odd, but they've gone now. The current crop of ads are less intrusive and I don't mind them. The owners have to get a return for the website. It's free to us, but not to them.

To have a subscription for an ad-free site happens on some sites. Could work here for them as wants it.

All the adverts are targeted depending on your browser history. Anything to tell us? 🤣
 
All a bit strange to me, I used to be plagued with all the ads on here, particularly the in-thread ones, now I don’t get any at all.
