I hate to say it, but I’m really not surprised where Appleton is concerned. He really is the epitome of that ‘Yorkshire’ rhyme “Strong in the Arm, Thick in the Head”
 
He had millions in the bank and blew it, that's a privilege few have and sort of highlights what I'd already suspected, that he's a bit of a plonker!
